Propagation timeline
About this dashboard
This dashboard aggregates several sources into a single HF Score (0–100) and supporting metrics. The main score and charts currently take into account:
- Solar flux index (SFI) – higher values generally improve high-band propagation.
- Geomagnetic K‑index – higher disturbance reduces the score.
- Spot activity from DX clusters on major HF bands (80/40/20/15/10m) – more spots increase the score.
Other metrics shown on the top (A‑index, Bz, solar wind speed Vsw, X‑ray class) are fetched and displayed for context, but they are not currently included in the main HF Score on this page. The score is a global, band‑agnostic indicator and does not account for your exact location, antenna, power, or chosen band/time for a particular QSO. Use it as a quick “HF weather” overview, not as a guarantee for a specific path.
